Pacific Roster of Experts
The Pacific Roster of Experts is part of a global initiative to strengthen talent management efforts and service delivery to the UNDP across the Asia and the Pacific region. The Pacific Roster of Experts has been set up to gather information on professionals with substantial knowledge and expertise within UNDP's areas of support who are willing to be considered for short term assignments in the Pacific region. This will improve the UNDP’s, and Pacific-based UN Agencies ability to attract, share, and manage expertise in a timely fashion as well as assisting professionals with skills and expertise relevant to the Pacific find assignments in the region.
The Pacific Roster of Experts is a collaborative project lead by the UNDP Pacific Centre and in collaboration with the Fiji Multi-Country Office, Samoa Multi-Country Office, Papua New Guinea Office and is powered by WIDE (The Web of Information for Development) - an online Web-enabled system gathering information on experts and institutions in developing countries of the South.
